Art in Dalarna (Konst i Dalarna)

is a non-profit association whose purpose is to promote visual and applied arts within the region. It is an interest group for artists who live or work in the county. Members are professional artists working in the visual/applied arts and/or design and who have corresponding merits to those that are required for membership in KRO and KIF.

Konst i Dalarna was founded

in 1995 and has today about 100 members with widely varied competences and who are spread throughout the county. If you are a professional artist, then KiD can be your arena for contact with other artists in the area.

Painting, sculpture, graphic design, ceramics, silver, etc...

In our members register you will find photos of the artists’ works as well as the artists’ contact information.

Areas of interest

Konst i Dalarna monitors the regional political scene concerning culture, particularly in the areas of visual and applied arts as well as design. We negotiate partners for organizers and purchasers at the county and community levels. We have good knowledge as to where one can find the right competence, and we gladly assist in conveying contacts.

The organization is run on a non-profit basis and initiates a variety of projects.
